While Sunday’s Gravel Gran Fondo is the main event, we’ve got a full day of activities on Saturday to make your Strade Bianche Boulder experience extra special. Whether you want to conquer some extra miles with a famous World Tour legend, revel in a lively afternoon party with your fellow riders, or reserve the chance to dine on extraordinary food and wine in an intimate setting with Davis Phinney, and Connie Carpenter, we’ve got you covered.


Pre Ride & Pranzo Lunch
9:30AM – 12:00PM

If you want to double your weekend riding pleasure, join us for this special pre-ride, followed by a hearty Italian lunch. The course is primarily road with about 30% gravel. Road bikes are the preferred steed. Pace will be moderate, about 16-18 mph average. To maintain the element of surprise, we’ll share the Boulder area start/finish location and approximately 40 mile route with registered riders two days before the ride itself. Limited to 50 riders.

Aperitivo Happy Hour and Check-In

Join the all-riders meetup at Boulder’s high-energy Rayback Collective. Fellow riders, a wide range of local craft brews, appetizers from Chef Fabio Flagiello, and great food trucks await! $10 entry includes your first beer and appetizers.

Join Davis Phinney, and Connie Carpenter  in an intimate Boulder dining experience prepared by renowned Chef Fabio Flagiello and wine hand selected by Frasca Food & Wine. All proceeds benefit the Davis Phinney Foundation. This special evening is limited to just 25 guests. Expect magic!

Choose from one of four cycling routes and Enjoy Boulder County’s exceptional network of gravel roads and beautiful Front Range views. Registration includes sag and mechanical support, and rest stops with hearty Tuscan fare, and one ticket to the Sagra post-ride Lunch and Festival!

Now it’s time to sit back and relax because you’ve earned it! Michelin-award winning Chef Fabio Flagiello will prepare an exceptional lunch spread featuring his Tuscan favorites including lasagna, tiramisu, and wine from the Chianti region of Italy. Bring additional guests for $20 per adult and $15 for children under 18.
